Default End of the line--G98/40 jhv 44 M block

Something that walked into my home shop semi-recently. I never seemed to have any trouble finding L block jhv 44's, but for whatever reason the M blocks didn't seem as common.

Gorgeous rifle, congrats! It doesn't appear that the craftsmanship and quality suffered at jhv, even at that stage of the war.
