    Default What is yours favorit mauser 98k maker code,and why?

    Mine is erma (ax),really like the quality rifles erma made in the war years!
    and its an code you dont see too often
    jps 98k is known for making high quality rifles,and i think erma did made them just as nice in finish

    byf followed closely by the svw's. MO was such a power house in manufacturing and the history and details of the firm are interesting to me.

    They go from full numbering blued to KM numbering phosphate SKM.
    With an amazing array of cool stuff.
    The best looking phosphate of the war.
    Odd size laminate stocks
    Machine gun barrel!
    Heavily marked with all the subcontractor markings a, b, c, d, e, f, g, I, j, l, m, n, o,
    Makes for an interesting rifle in my opinion.
    Looking for 10" cleaning rod, early style e/214 #91, nazi style e/26 #04

    Ax coded Erma's. I like the gothic script " mod 98" on the L/S receiver, and the fact that they are not that common is cool too. My ax 41 bolt mm is the the most accurate k98 I own by far.

    JP Sauer. Especially pre-war. Some of the finest examples of k98k, in my opinion.
