Alles, was man im Leben braucht, ist eine gute Frau, ein treuer Hund und eine nette alte Mauser.

A strong contender has to be the early MO Banner rifles. Quality and workmanship are 1st rate!

Nice '37 jps sheepdog! I agree about early MO. I have a standard model that is neck and neck with my nicest JPS

Ok I will go Sauer on quality but my favorite maker is BLM. Started with my first k98 a duv 40. I spent a lot of time researching the company/ town and I find it fascinating. Very innovative company, quality where it counts, not so much in some areas but my favorite none the less.

I would have to say JPS especially the early to mid war rifles. This is followed closely by MO.

Any one with that nice little Luftamp'd mark on the barrel just next to the receiver! If they also include it on the rest of the metal parts, that even makes it better

    Cool My JPS treasure

I'm with all the gentlemen who like the rifles by J.P. Sauer & Sohn.

Of course I should mention that a script ce 43 with the special flat side is presently my only example. I'd be very pleased to add a nice example by ANY manufacturer as a future acquisition.

BYF for me probably because I own a couple. Both bolt mm. Both 1941. First is an "h" block with a flat butt walnut stock. The second is "ff" cupped laminate with "L" marking on the buttstock. They are not safe queens as they both seem to have seen action. The "ff" has mixed 2X E/655 and 1X E/135 on the right side of the receiver.
