Hello dear friends!
6 years ago from a dealer in Germany invited me to buy such a interesting example of Mkb 42(H).
It has an unusual dual marked - M.P.43(H)Mkb42(H). But the price was too high and I did not buy it(It was 80 thousands Euro and rifle was deactivated). And last week in the auction Egan offered a similar sample of Mkb 42 double labeling.
Two rare Mkb 42 ...I stored photos of them for photo history.
This forum has many topics, reflecting the peculiarities and differences of various rare specimens of German arms. So I think it is necessary to create this thread for pictures and discussion of the data samples. Unfortunately, the second Mkb42 was illiterate and poorly restored.
What is an inexperienced person restored number and wrote the /42 as year of release. But as everyone knows, in 1942 Mkb42 with this number could not be done. Apparently, the owner of the rifle did not know the story of its creation. In addition, the lost original bolt and knobs the handle, too late buttstock from usual MP44.
So, the photos!
The first rifle in nice condition.
