One of the first ever built MS 420, with a remarkable "Waffenfabrik Mauser" legend and 1924 date on the left of the receiver. I have never seen this marking configuration on any other MS420, except on the lower serial # 11 from 1921 (Speeds Mauser Archive)
All numbers matched, the general configuration is the same than the later runs of this model (beginning 31xxx), except the upper sling swivel foot on the barrel which is welded, and the missing of the Mauser banner on the receiver and the right side of the stock.
