Military use markings

Post up any markings you have on your German military used .22's - and list what model it is.

Sitting to my left are 2 DSM34's and one KKW:

1. KKW: 70 stamped into the triggerguard extension, as well as 70 acid etched onto the buttplate (it almost looks like brass coloured paint, but it is PART of the metal - some type of chemical)

2. 1934 date DSM34 has B6 stamped into the foreend on the left side just behind the upper band. This is likely attributed to the Hitler Jugend according to most speculation.

3. DSM 34 of1935 vintage: brass plaque inlet into right butt with Gewher 21660 Eigentum SA Sturm3/I Trupp 3. Interestingly, the rifle serial is 21560, with the 5 looking like a die error, so it was misread and 21660 stamped onto the plaque! This rifle has EXCELLENT provenance, coming out of a WELL known collection, having come originally from ANOTHER well known collection prior to that even.

Both DSM's incidentally have the sleeved rear sight base collar.

Post up your markings
