Well done Sir, 1945 dated pouches are not at all easy to find. This firm also produced S84/98 leather frogs marked in the same manner as seen here.

Nice pouch! On WAF they have a 1945 dated equipment thread. It would be interesting to see other such equipment. (I have a helmet)

Well with the help of a great new friend (Mike) I've completed my set of 45 k98k pouches. Both are the same RB number and 45 dated. Both the 45 style construction. Only difference is the bottom of one is sewn, and the other riveted.

I am slowly collecting some 45 dated field gear and added another one of these. They are so flimsy. I also just noticed that they are made of different leathers on the same pouch. Some of the leather is natural colour on the inside and some is dyed black. The dyed black stuff is FLIMSY.

Interesting to see all of these have stitched front faces. Even though you see a mix throughout most of the war, I have only ever seen the 45's with stitching in front. You would think there would be some 45 all riveted fronts examples

Your pouches were produced in the city or district of Glauchau (Saxony).
Code 0378.

Very nice pouches!
Thanks for showing
Wolfgang
