What would the correct vintage MG34 be to have the Bakelite stock with and without the metal tips and what would be the correct years for the wood stock?

Hello,

Metal tipped buttstocks are from 1938-41 and it depends on the type of wood used, walnut 1936-38, beech 1942-45.
Here's the full list.
Walnut 36-38
Metal tipped Bakelite 38-41
Bakelite 39-43
Steel 43
Beech 42-45
Bunker mount steel.
