Anybody get 7.9 kurz ammo= Pistolenpatronen 43m.E. = Kurzpatronen 43 m.E.

Lets see 7.9 kurz ammo wooden-boxes = Patronenkasten ,battlepacks=Packhülsen , Faltschachteln = 14,15,20 boxes.

How is it possible to have 2850 in a wooden box - 570 in each battle-pack ?
Some of it is suitable for exercises but unsuitable for schools ?

I think some of the crates held battle packs, some held individual 15 round boxes (no battle packs), depending on the crates they were using.

Pitfighter answer is correct.It depends on the packing without or with Packhülsen 88.

There was a order always to pack Kurzpatronen 43 in Packhülsen and in wooden crates.

Well - the first page is about Packhülsen á 420. 3 x 420 = 1260 in a small wooden crate - or 5 x 420 = 2100 in a large wooden crate.
The second page is b) kurz ammo to be packed in small cartons (á 15), then in Packhülsen and then in wooden crates.
Zu a) and b) If the normal wooden crates are impossible to get - then in other types of wooden boxes for example wooden boxes for fuses.
So a label with 2850 has not been on a normal ammo wooden crate - see below - but on another type of wooden box.

It's simply impossible to have 2850 in a ammo wooden crate.

It's simply impossible to have 2850 in a ammo wooden crate.

Thats it.The documents in my last statment peports from the rule.There ar three exeptions.Wooden crates without Packhülsenen 88 and only fifteen boxes.
1. 100 boxes =1500 cartridges in a normal Patronenkasten 900.
2. 160 boxes = 2400 in B Luftdichter Patronenkasten.
3. 190 boxes -2850 in the wooden crate for Sprengbüchsen 24(1 kg),Sprengkörper 28 (0,2kg)or 240 Bohrpatronen 28(0,1kg).

The maximum capacity for the normal wooden crate

atronenkasten 88,A Luftdichter Patronenkasten ,B Luftdichter Patronenkasten and Patronenkasten 88 B is 2500 Kurzpatronen 7.92x33 by using Packhülsen 88.

OK I understand. Do you have a "1500" Label in your collection ? The Packhülse "Anschußpatronen" must be super rare.

Yes I have. I add a picture.The wooden crate contents only boxes witout labels.Also the earlier 7.92x33 boxes have no special addition.Only the wooden crate or perhaps the Packhülse 88 get a special label "Anschußpatronen".The 8x57 boxes get a special label Anschuß(for the snipers ?)

1944 hla 21 box 7.92x33

Your collection is little but you have a hla 21 box with a different Zdh. ad. I missed until now in my collection.Thanks for showing.
I have only annother box from hla 21. I believe your aux box is the aux 81 or 82 lot.I cant see it exactly.
The 1945 fva 13 label is not original.See the pictures from the labels.The print is good but the paper is different from the normal paper from that time.

Perhaps some other collectors have also boxes I miss until now.Please show them.

7.92x33 wooden crate 2400

The wooden crate with the content 2400 has no Packhülsen only 160 boxes.I have seen these crates until now only from aux and hla.
The reason for using only boxes and not also Packhülsen 88 are the problems by packing the Packhülse in the B Luftdichter Patronenkasten.The early B Luftdichter Patronenkasten from 1941 or 1942 with a zink and not the steel were fixed in the wooden crate and very narrow.Sometimes it was not possible to pack the full Packhülsen in thes crates.The Chef der Heeresrüstung gives further informations in his letter from 21.7.1944.The extra label ohne Packhülsen (without battlepacks) I have never seen until now on 2400 wooden crates.There are also found 2400 wooden crates with steel inbox.

I would just like one Polish KAM factory head-stamp in my collection, although a 41 dated Polte factory would be rather good, too.

I have to make a correction.There are also known 2400 wooden crates from fva.I add the picture.
