MP 44 ammo 7.92x33

Anybody get 7.9 kurz ammo= Pistolenpatronen 43m.E. = Kurzpatronen 43 m.E.

Lets see 7.9 kurz ammo wooden-boxes = Patronenkasten ,battlepacks=Packhülsen , Faltschachteln = 14,15,20 boxes.

I found annother wooden crate Patronenkasten 900 with 1945 eej 1 content.

Finally found a 14 round box for my collection.
Its a little salty, and used - but that is fine, haven't seen another for sale in the US in 15 years of collecting.

This one is from the (HLA) (Metallwarenfabrik Treuenbritzen G.m.b.H., Werk Sebaldushof, Germany) -
The box is dated 1944, batch (14), the ammo is all 1945 batch (1).
So, presumably it was repacked as some point post-war - although, it is interesting that the ammo is all from the same factory and all from the same batch (1).

I realize the middle two rounds are the wrong way up.

Just stumbled across this thread.....so now I need to add Kurz Battlepacks to my collecting wants!

Great box there Pitfighter. Will the Stg 44 be getting let loose at Wikieup in a few weeks?

Peter.

This rifle won't be at Big Sandy - but, I might be.

There was a complete 7,9x33 Kurz battle pack for sale recently - I was offered it by a German seller on the IAA forum.
Getting it from Germany to the US was the issue.

I got one cartridge out of Germany - a single KAM factory Kurz - it is still the only one from that short Polish run I have seen in the US.

Hi,

Are the German battlepacks different from the 7,92 x 57 Patronen and those used for 7,92 x 33 kurz rounds? or do they use the same cardboard sleeves?

Thanks George.

The cardboard sleeves(Packhülse 88) for the 7,92x57,9mm Para and the 7,92x33 kurz rounds are the same.

Do you have some pictures from Kurzpatronen 43 labels?
I need all information for my book about the development and production of the 7.9mm Kurzpatrone.

Thanks
Norbert
