Picked this up earlier this week. It is a BCD 45 serial 15124 with no final proof, no stock proof, pinstripe laminate..It is dufflecut under the sling band and was missing the band spring (Added one to hold everything together, but looking for a better condition one). Lighting wasn't optimal but it was my only chance to photograph.. Here are a few pics..comments welcome, thanks for looking, Mike

Thanks for the comments, it has been somewhat of a dry spell for matching k98's in my parts, glad it became available. and thanks again for the comments, Mike

Sweet! Just about as late as they got. Interesting to see the (perfectly correct) milled upper band, striker housing, and bayonet lug. Milled trigger guard/magazine assemblies were sometimes seen this late, too, along with milled floor plates. Love the stock laminations that are of two different thicknesses!

Great Addition , I have seen at least 4 or 5 BCD 45`s get bought in as many months to date . Best Regards .

Very nice rifle buddy. I myself love the Phosphate late war rifles. I guess I can blame Mrfarb for that, its that volume III book of his. Caused me to have a expensive hobby lol.

Dave I'm starting to believe you have every K98k type that was ever made. But that was neat to see that these rifles were assembled so close together maybe the same day too.

Well I do not have all, but I do have a few. It is an addiction, but it keeps me off the streets, and out of the bars at night [ no money ].
