P.08 Erfurt 1916 rig, 2 matching mags

That's a nice po8 Ham I had a Erfurt 1914 several yrs ago that cam back from a U.S. vet WW2 that served in Italy. timothy
 
Excellent find! If you yield to the temptation of shooting it, you probably already know not to use the original magazines as after a century, the wooden bases have dried-out, lost their strength, and crack easily. On my early Lugers, I use either a '29 Swiss or one of my WWII mags and a new recoil spring.
 
Thanks, not shooting it though. I have dedicated shooters for my K98ks and pistolwise it's a P.38.
 
What a very nice rig !
I'm partial to the Imperial era Lugers, and to see one with BOTH matching magazines is quite a treat.
