here is another rifle out of the same collection. This one I have no doubts it's legit.
F block hi-turret. Stock I feel has been replaced. clues, too early for a two piece recoil lug. Also installed backwards. Stock is blank with poor e/135 stamped on the side.. I haven't taken the action out of the wood yet. Another question is: To early for a checkered butt plate ? I feel so. It does not have one..

I tried to do the best I could with my point and click camera.. The rear sight protector has been on there so long I couldn't get it off without fear of breaking the strap so I left it alone. Could be legit ? Not 100%

Mounts and Rings

The mounts and rings look like reproduction. I can not say much about the 135 receiver proof, because it is blurry.

Sorry, I know the one photo I didn't check and I only took the one.. Compared to the other F block he has Id say its ok. The other is bad for sure.
The font on the ring looks pretty damn good to me. I guess you never know till you know..

Sniper

Just what I think. I am sure others will speak up. I am pretty sure, but I do not have it in hand. The numbers look off with the square angles on the front ring. Lots of bright white stuff in the numbers too that changes appearence. Also, I think the scope is wrong. I would be hesitant about buying it.

Hello,

the scope, rings and 1-8 dial are put together. the front ring font serial is not correct. the 1-8 dial is one of Roberts as its missing the Dial stop screw. I don't like the rear HT base on the rifle proof is not correct. the solder for a f (F) block for 1944 is WAY to much build up ( few solder spatters but not this heavy) they didn't get this build up and sloppy till k (K) and l (L) block and later. with rear base proof I would not like receiver proof. the EARLY screw on the rear mount was a BYF43 type 1 item could one be found sure but all examples on file have roll pin tension lever stop.
