ac44 n block g43 with some early features

yes very nice find love the corn cob stock, again nice example sling in great shape well care for rifle

Very nice rifle! It is a little surprising to see a "cobbed" stock on a "n" block rifle. Also according to D. Weaver, Walther stopped numbering their stocks after the 'n' block. Yours is high enough in the letter block range that they may have stopped numbering them by then. Truely a good find.

Thanks.. One of my observations as well. It's right on the cusp and a believable example as it shows no real tampering.. I didn't get into Weavers book on it yet and I know during research breaks in changes cant always be nailed down as all examples are never seen. I really like it that's why I bought it. Finding something different can be difficult to do at times.

Yes you did and I love that stock nice untouched condition. Just glad someone didn't decide to take the dreaded sandpaper to it when it was brought over here lol.
