Hello this is my first forum post ever. I have not collected k98 Mausers in some time and I am looking forward to finally getting back to learning about the rifle that I first started to collect. I have read this forum and I can appreciate the knowledge base here. If this forum and I-phones had been around in the 1990's when I was at gun shows on a regular basis, life would have been a lot simpler and I would have been much better informed.
 
Welcome to the forum Desert Rat. I just recently moved here to Phoenix, and am very much enjoying it.

Thanks for the replies from mrfarb, Rook16 and deadeye18. I have a respose from Texas, local from Phoenix and international from England. I can greater appreciate the diversity this forum provides.
