Nice, is that a Luftwaffe rework?

Beautiful rifle. I love those K98's. They are addictive.

Yes, rebarreled at an LZa somewhere. Everything else looks original to the rifle except for the extractor and collar (which has been numbered for some reason).

    A very nice Luft rework.

LZa 2 is a elusive depot, most are LZa 4's, - looks pretty nice.

Very nice twh, pic stickied for reference. Always interesting as they were repaired/reworked to the extent necessary. Looks like the original bolt, but it needed an extractor and a new barrel. Everything else looks basically factory original. Many times when we see a new barrel we see a new bolt body (headspacing). This one obviously headspaced out OK.

    Replaced bolt LZa2:

Very neat and very cool congrats on your find bud. Luft reworks I always thought were interesting pieces.
