It was used a brown colored plastic, by 38 Durkopp its real they were serialed and proofed. It doesnt look like late war red brown grips. b.r.Andy

after going through my 1938 box i found 3 different grips colours on Durkopp 84/98 1938 (one with wood grips).

Still looking for an example of this maker/year. I really like the one with the wood grips and I love the red bakelite. Your collection is amazing.

Dark brown and brown is correct for 1938. Question is the 182 is there a h or b letter? as in h range i would await a brown plastic grips.b.r.Andy
