Default Mauser Banner Standard Modell Short Rifle

I have a Mauser Banner Standard Modell Short Rifle, serial number B66440, BUGN commercial proofed on receiver and under barrel, 37 under barrel(year of production??), metal is 90%+, no military markings, bolt is matched to receiver, has 6440 and BU proofs on top of bolt handle stub, wide stock band, and really nice tiger striped walnut stock(replacement) as someone 'sporterized' the original stock many years ago unfortunately..it was a nicely wavy figured walnut stock numbered to the receiver in the barrel channel..no import marks..probably a GI liberated bringback?? Added: bolt is partially bent down but not as much as later military 98K rifles..

I have a mix-master Mauser Banner receiver which was re-barreled in 7.62 NATO and later parkerized. It has the Chinese nationalist sun insignia on both sides of the receiver. I bought it in the late 1980's and it has a mixture of parts, and appears to be in a Spanish stock.

SN is 1922 with no visible prefix or suffix.

I assume the purpose of this is to record the serial number for the study, since my rifle is only a shooter at this point. Hopefully I'm posting this in the right place.

    Regards,

Despite having the Mauser Banner on the receiver, your rifle is neither a "Banner Modell" or a "Standard Modell". It is a Chinese export K98k, and these rifle have their own SN range.

    Default Mauser Banner B62050

I spotted this one today in a local shop, Banner B 62050, matching numbers including the bolt but the bolt appears to be a replacement. Stock is inletted for a side sling and cut for turned down bolt handle. Marked for Bundesgrenzschutz (BGR) on receiver, stock under receiver and left side of butt. No take down disk or visible proofs. BUGN on receiver but not on top of bolt. Circle Z on bolt root and circle A on underside of safety.
Any collector value? Dealer asking $1,300.

That sounds interesting. I'd love to hear some thoughts from the more knowledgable members.

    Default Banner K unmarked stock

I just purchased a Mauser Banner K dated 1934 #87681 with a diamond proof mark. the stock has no stamp etc. Bolt appears to be a renumbered imperial bolt, floor plate mismatched, all other numbered parts match.
I'm assuming this was an SA rifle since police would have had property markings?
