Default STG 44. If you like dual tones....

One of the last produced Stg's of the war. Produced by the main manufacturer Sauer who made the smallest quantity of guns. Estimated around 55,000.
Phosphate receiver is provided by Mauser. The front blued section is made by Sauer.

Gun is completetly matching including the bolt. Notice byf(just peeking out under handguard flap) and CE proofs and w/ampts on bottom of receiver in front of mag well. Notice small proof in stock cut out. Even the stock is dual tone...book trap is blued...bottom protector is phosphate.

Man, I'm about to pass out. I had that rifles twin (albeit in worse condition) but mine ended up as a parts kit. I'm pretty sure ai was the last block like you say....

    Default MP-44 Surprise

Just bought a copy of Iannamico's MP-40 book Blitzkrieg. While reading it I noticed that the Mp-44 pictured looked a lot like mine...then I checked mine and realized it was the one pictured. The previous owner who is credited in the caption never told me....Pretty cool.
