Very nice looking rifle! What is the marking on the right rear receiver bridge in photo #9? Any significance to the marking in that location, such as a corrected out of spec. part?

The marking on the right receiver is some type of inspection, circle V7.

Bjarne, a few questions - right receiver is blank, correct? Also, how is the bolt root marked - and does the bolt have oval gas escape holes?

Steyr used a lot of subcontracted stocks, odd that a C stock would have small take down disc but it is what it is...

Bore is very bright what would this one go for in the us?

To me these sell in the $1800 range give or take, about what a nice bnz43 would go for. People don't pay a premium for ss contract because they don't have runes.

Is there a number or letter at the root of the bolt? I see the back, but I meant bottom. Thanks!

These are the only numbers/markins on the bolt

Cool rifle Bjarne! Textbook. Mine is the "same but different"; a bnz 43 SS contract 8845 but with the numbers on the barrel, not the receiver, and stamped bands. It was later than yours. Pic stickied.
