I would say 1942....BILL

What for serial number is on blade, i would estimate it to same period maybe 1941/2.

Hey Bill,

Lance O. Adams here. Long time. Great bayonet and very nice frog as well! The Police Adler B in the rifle barrel groove are the earliest police marking found on these bayonets after the star burst examples. It may even date a bit earlier than 1942. I agree with Andrej, 1941 or perhaps even 1940. My thoughts only ......
