    Default bnz 45 5273T

    Just wanted to post this for some comment. Nice GI bringback, walnut stock, looks pretty much unissued. Late war type with no stock, receiver or firing proof. Finish is nearly all phosphate. Sling is a dkk44 in beautiful condition, looks original to the rifle. Interesting placement of the lower band screw.

    yes, no final proofs at all.. I'm not sure where the hi point of the serial range is but this one must be up there. I've never seen the screw placed down there..Also the wood apears to be a very dark piece of walnut. Most late bnz's are a light color and the wood is sap wood.
