It's worn, but honest ;) Matched to the screws and bandspring, heavily used, combat carry wear but probably had not been disassembled (at least any time in recent history). Dried grease and frozen together parts. It seems when this variant turns up it is in heavily used condition.

I like it Craig thanks for sharing. A nice honest used example and tough too come by. I think the last one I saw for sale Hugh Brock's had it at last years SOS show.

Awesome, love it! My favorite flavor of K98k. I'm still on the hunt for one.

My holy grail!

I love that rifle! I want one some day to bridge the gap between my 1930 Radom K29 and my 1940 660 Code Steyr K98k. Even love all the wear, it is perfect to me. Very nice sir. Someday...

Can't believe I missed this one being posted. Great rifle and Kriegsmarine stock and disc to boot!

Thanks guys. It was a "BIN" awhile back. (Tks Plymouth Mauser) from the same seller I got my Belgian M.35 from. It's rode hard but honest ;)

Nice find Ham. I also like it in spite of the honest wear. Or maybe because of it? Radom in a Steyr stock and fittings and KM too. She's a keeper.

I thought the M is supposed to come all the way to the bottom in the middle or did the Radom Stamp change by 1939?

If so what year did it change?

I remember the middle of the M being brought up when that guy got caught restamping. I assume this one and OP is correct, but this seems to be another minefield.

In one of the more recent crops of fake stamps there are pre-war Polish stamps of different types, including a 'F.B. RADOM' stamp and Polish eagle.

Was there a certain year it changed because I found 1937 with similar M as OP and another 1937 that looked flat out fake.

The center of the 'M' on my 1935 is higher than either of these examples. Could just be a variation in the tooling in use at Radom.
