    Default 44 ASW Bayonet

I would greatly appreciate any assistance in getting a rough valuation on this bayonet. The blade is black and has almost no wear from drawing it. The only issue I see is some improper removal of rust on the back of the handle; however, I know little about bayonets. Thank you.

Nice looking 44 bayonet, proably made sometime in the later half of 44. Nice overall condition. I'd say it's $125 to $140 dollar range.

Nothing wrong with that piece! 1944 E&F Hörster "y" block serial range places it shortly before the appearance of the "riveted" grips, which if memory serves, appeared in the "aa" range.
Agree with John concerning $ value.
