Very nice! I notice the different year but same serial and suffix. Does this happen often? Only near yearly roll over? Also interesting they're still in business and still make ceremonial swords and bayonets.
 
very nice piece, early 1944 production with older 1943 stamped scabbard and in last 1943 range, probably fullended in january 1944. b.r.Andy
 
I really like to see your maker collections by year. At some point I hope to be able to do that as well.
