The 1915 dwm that I got at the auction yesterday came in this oddly marked(and looking) holster. from what I can find it is a 1912 styer holster converted for luger use or...... If I am wrong please correct me. any help is great as my knowledge is limited.IMG_0385.jpgIMG_0386.jpgIMG_0387.jpgthe only markings are Ws1 below an eagle on the back of the holster.

Looks like an original holster someone has redone, the oval on the front is coverying the pull out strap I think? The edging and stitching doesn't look right either and I'm not getting a good vibe on the eagle, would need better pictures there though. It looks like there are some depot stamps under the flap which would be normal for WWI, not sure why they would alter the holster like that, is it easier to get at the luger when it's in? Original holsters were a bit clumsy for access, flap was oversized.

How about the Luger? Any pics? Imperial are great values when collecting.
