I bought a GEHA 12ga converted Mauser. Im trying to date it but can't seem to come up with anything. I know the stock and reciever are based off the gewehr 98 and the Kar98AZ. The serial is in the 5000s and also has just an eagle no swastika stamped on the bolt handle and receiver. Another note is the barrel is Nitro proofed if that helps in any way.

These were done in the 1920s in 12, 14, and 16ga. I have a half dozen of them and use them regularly. They were built mainly we spare and salvaged Gew.98 actions and parts.
