Few more photos I missed.

Nice looking rifle, I've only seen the gustloff style SKM on byf45's before, this is a first for me.

So how many other MO's in this configuration of skm are known? Despite the band issue it's a very nice rifle Nathan. Very interesting variation.

If not mistaken I think Dave Roberts has/had one in SK and walnut. We were unknowingly battling for ownership from a local shop here in NH about 12 years ago or more.

Mauser Late Stock Variations

With this new one here is what I have so far:

1. Standard Oberndorf stock with disk and provision for cleaning rod
2. Semi-Kriegsmodell with no disk but provision for cleaning rod
3. Full Kriegsmodell (no disk)
4. Kriegsmodell with disk but no provision for hole in buttplate
5. Standard 'c' stocks supplied by Menzel
6. Standard stocks supplied by J.P.Sauer
7. Turret modified Kriegsmodell with disk added and existing drill hole in stock behind checkered buttplate

So there are seven structural variations and add the laminate/walnut mix ... even more.
