Dear Fellow Mauser Enthusiasts,

My Dad started his MilSurp "collection" in the 1960s and I have inherited both his small collection and interests. So I have a small group of Mausers including a:

1895 vintage Loewe Chilean Long Rifle in 7x57;
1910 vintage Carl Gustavs Stads M96 in 6.5x55;
1934/35 vintage Fabrique Nationale Venezuela 24/30 Sht. Rifle in 7x57;
1941 vintage Oberndorf K98 in 8x57 (veteran bring back);
Post-War vintage sporterized BRNO/CZ VZ24 rifle in 8x57;
and, 1951 vintage sporterized Fabrique Nationale K98 in 30-06

My primary interest in this forum is in learning how to better maintain, preserve and shoot these fine rifles. Only two of these rifles are in "stock" condition. The all-matching Carl Gustavs Stads M96 and the mostly-matching Oberndorf K98 which is what brings me here. I also have a few nice British Enfields which including a No.1 MkIII*, three No.4 Mk1, and one No.5 MkI.

Looking forward to getting to know the folks in this forum although, I must admit, that I spend most of my time at Rimfire Central.

Cheers,
AQBill
