My New Radom Rig

EOD - bombs and bullets
Picked this F block Radom up this weekend at the DACA show from a friend. He and I went through what he had (about 5 Radoms) and cherry picked this one.

Came with two pinned mags, and a nice bnz holster. I am very happy to get a Radom back in the collection again.

Anything interesting with it? It is matching, and has a little freckling and wear, but, honestly, I like pistols that look like they were issued and used versus perfect specimens that likely sat on a shelp or an armory for the war....but that's just me....

I like it especially since its still the early type with the three lever design. Not too mention you have nice holster for it as well. Not a easy holster too come by either. Congrats on your purchase.

And I like collecting pistols as well especially since they don't take up a ton a room in the safe lol!

Very nice example and looks right. You did very well. Quality was still pretty good in first F block. I think shooting a few rounds through it is fine. It should do very well. Congratulations.

* Agree with the previous....complete, correct, and a keeper !!
* Nice choice Mike.
* OBTW: Born on date = May, 1942 (Probably).

Bob, I sure am happy with it....it's a great rig, shows some use, but not abuse. I really appreciate being able to have met all you guys, and hang out with all of you at the shows...looking forward to September!

Sorry it was an in and out last weekend...but I couldn't wait until September to pick up the rig!

Nice; someday, perhaps. A Radom or Hi-power to with my three P38s.

You are shafted. No way to not have these in the collection(the VIS and the HP) as they are WW2 major players. I prefer each to the P-38 IMO. In fact, the VIS is my favorite Axis full power pistol of WW2.

I like them thinking about picking up a nice rig next year. Well see most likely be the three lever design for me like the look of those better.
