Good afternoon,
M42 EF64? No provenance. I have no other pics at the moment.

I'm disposed to like it, but the pics are too low rez for me to get a real feel for it. Just because a helmet shows what looks like wear and age doesn't make it so. The way to tell artificial aging is a good hands on inspect, or at a minimum, hi-rez pics.

Based off the photos it stands a good chance. Not a camo that would be over priced IMHO.
If buying don't pay more than what a minty EF helmet would bring 1k 1300.00 range.

Thanks all for your comments.
The price is within the range suggested by mauser99. I have just bought the helmet with a full return policy. I will post daylight pics as soon I get it in hands.
Have a good day,
JM

When attempting to authenticate multicoloured camos, it's important to look at how the paint is layered over top of the factory fieldgrau so that you can pick out inconsistencies. Like the other guys have stated, I think this one stands a chance, but before we can make a definitive call, you'll need to provide clearer close ups.

That said, something I've noticed is that in most places, the burgundy colour appears to be applied intermittently over top of a green over-spray. However, if you look carefully at the worn section of the top of the dome, what's left is not a base green paint, but rather burgundy... Given that the burgundy is applied on top of the green layer on the rest of the helmet, I'm wondering why there seems to be burgundy applied directly to the factory feldgrau paint on top of the dome? I'm not saying it's bad, but that's kind of curious if you ask me...

Thanks a lot for the new comments. Too bad, I will not be at home before weeks... Here are some pictures taken by my wife at the arrival of the parcel. Not really high definition but If it can help...
Really eager to have this helmet in hands.
