I hate to throw this term around but, Once and a while it's true. This was found in mass. And it took a couple tries to get this one hooked. This was as the story was told brought back and was taken out of either a barracks or store room at gustloff werke II. It's unfired and as un-touched as a k98 can be found. Just a little handling filth on the stock.. It will stay there.. Added: This is an a typical gustloff totally subcontracted and assembled there. Also with an oversized 'c' stock. I want to thank my good friend Joe B. for going to pick it up for me!

Wow, that's a beauty, and pic stuck, congrats Radomman.

that is also an example of a stock that should not be touched with Howards or anything else.

Wow

Thanks for posting. Just sold one in similar condition and the SN is close to this one. How about a right side view of the whole rifle ?

Damn! Congrats...

There is a big difference between 95% & 99.5%. Like coins, really hard to find better than 98%.

I like the primer paint on the outside of the b-plate and the lighter "E/H" when compared to the stock... that 2nd feature of untouched wood was hit on by Jonathan.

There are two things that get me aroused....

This type of wood on a WWII German gun is one

Jack knows what the other is

??????
