Here is a 44 jwh. matching. No serial on grips, locking bolt, or flash guard. Locking bolt functions fine

It is un-sharpened. Little finish remains on bard. Pommel fares a little better.
Tip look like its been blunted and has very slight bend.

Looks nice harder to find code and year I think sometime just before invansion jwh may have stopped production I know it was sometime in 44 anyway nice s84/98. Better than mine it had some sharpening. timothy
 
I like it, that's a code/year combination I'd really like to find someday.

Excellent piece, heavy tooling on lock nut and blade even in middle of 1944, last 10000 pcs range.b.r.Andy
 
Very late Staatliche production in the last letter block. Very few v blocks have been recorded. Always a favorite.
