Matching 27 1938, nice

Here's one I've never shown. Matching Erma from 1938, luftwaffe marked to boot. Great condition overall, matching down to the little bits (except the rod). The main detractor is some buffoonery to the rear band and the recoil lug in the form of ignorant disassembly. The bayonet lug pin is missing, but the front band fits very tightly and keeps it in place.

Nice rifle. I am always amazed to see how much care went into the pre-war rifle production. Even though they were military contract rifles they look much nicer than today's commercial rifles!! Each one a work of art from a time when making firearms was an art form in and of itself!!

Great Luft rifle. That's as in-house and matching as you can get I guess? Looks like they made every piece!

I like your Erma, thanks for sharing! Close to your rifle is Sn. 81h, it's also Luftwaffe and listed in a table in the Volume I book. Which barrel code has your rifle?

Great looking rifle Nathan; matching and luft marked--outstanding! Congrats, and thanks for sharing.
