Anyone buy one of the new GSG mp-40 semi auto clones imported by ATI? Ive watched a few reviews of them and they seem like a pretty good deal for what they are.

While it looks like an MP40, it is a lot different in operation and parts which is the purpose of the design. The magazine feed well is part of the receiver and is made in two pieces which might be why an original MP38/40 magazine cannot be used. Interesting design and make it affordable for a look-a-like shooter. Harry

They can be found on gunbroker for just under $500. At that price I m thinking about getting one .

I have an ATI StG44 which is made of Zamak and it is a real piece of shite. Zamak is a fancy name for pot metal, the same brittle stuff carburetors are made of. Would never buy anything from GSG again after my personal StG44 fiasco.
