I buy capture paper guns

Seeing the other H block inspired me to take some photos of mine. I bought it from a nefarious dealer online and took a huge gamble. I probably lost 5 years of my life stressing about it before it got to me. All matching and slathered in cosmo.

Its a rubber muzzle cover attached with twine. No idea when or where it got there. Here are some detail shots, if anyone needs to see anything specific let me know. Thanks for the nice comments.

Nice one ! Sometimes the risk is worth the reward. I have never seen a muzzle cap attached like that ? Very cool and believable . Overall a very nice handled H block G43.

Ty, that's a very nice duv. You have good taste. The muzzle cap set up is very interesting as well. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks everyone, it took me quite a while to find one with minimal buggering. For some reason turned recoil lugs drive me nuts, so I strive to avoid that if at all possible.

As far as the cap, no idea where or when it was added. It looks like whoever brought it back took care to preserve it with a ton of cosmo. I am guessing they are the ones that attached the cap as not to lose it.

That rifle is really COOL! I really love the threaded muzzle cover being tied to the rifle like that. It looks like really old thread too, like it was done that way in the war. So neat.

What do you mean by "turned recoil lugs"? Sounds like a joke I didn't get.

Yeah, that seller does sell a lot of "stuff". I thought I remembered seeing this one back in February. I didn't want to take the gamble. It was tempting though.

Very good photos. Yours helped me confirm rifle is all matching. I didn't know from the sellers limited photos. Good pay off on your gamble!

You know what they say - sometimes you've gotta risk it for the biscuit! In this case I think you were right to do so cuz this thing is a cherry! Great piece man!

Thanks everyone for the nice comments. I like looking at this one :happy0180:

I am ultra picky about my stocks on all my rifles and I have attached a photo of what I am talking about. It seems that everyone loves to take out the recoil lugs for some reason. There is a correlation between removed lugs and refinished stocks.
