    Default Finnish M27 Tikka 1933

Matching Tikka 1933, no import marking. Purchased directly in Finland.

Built on a 1901 Izhevsk receiver, it has a two pieces stock and early nose cap. It came with original sling. I love this Finnish-Russian old war horse.

Hambone thank you for added to reference pictures.

    Some new photos...

On handguard is cca 15 cm long crack (last photos). If possible repaire or let it be as it is?

Some interesting info about Finn rifles :

Great additional pics David. That crack will likely not get worse with recoil, it already runs the full length of the handguard, which is held together by the bands. You could repair it properly, but that would create a visible repair and the rifle is unique and interesting as a collectible as it is. One exception is that you could use a hypodermic needle to inject, or otherwise insert, a small amount of wood glue in the cracks when they are spread open, then clamp. If you wipe the residue and do this properly you would likely not see the glue. The inside of the cracks would have to be free of any oil or grease or dirt. In short, I'd probably opt for doing nothing.
    Cheers,

As an aside, we had a friend of ours from the CR spend a week with us while he was on business here. I haven't been to Prague since 1990. Great city, beautiful, good looking women, great beer!
