Been looking for one of these, its the only year you can have a Luger, P38 and K98 from the same factory. I have the P38 and 98k, just need the luger now (and also a 42 HsC). This was assembled in early 1943 and is really part of BYF43 production. They just used the leftover slides. I guess they were still working out the assembly kinks and it appears as though the locking block has an overstrike. Looks like it had 744 but needed to be 784. These are tough to find and their condition is generally lacking. This one has one really nice side, but I think it was stored in a holster on the other side. Still nice though. Enjoy.
