AC44 question

K 98's I know well. The G43, not so much. I have an option to buy a complete action, unsure if matching totally. Missing the stock but all else seems present (no mag, hood, rod or sling). Is it worth $750? I know we need to see it for fair assessment but it is not in hand and have no pics yet. Figured to put a repro stock on it and have a nice G43 shooter. Assuming good metal condition would that price be too much?

I hear someone is selling an ac44 stock!!!!!!!!!!!Make sure it's matching, Carrier, Bolt, FP, bolt housing, trigger guard, barrel, receiver, gas system are well over $750. I guess am saying JUMP.

A Fox reproduction stock will cost you around $550 shipped, allowing you to put together a G43 shooter for $1,300 if nothing else is missing. At that price, you're doing fine, not a bargain but a reasonable entry into the G43 fun show. Don't forget to buy a shooter kit or make your own for under $1 without modifying any original parts.

I would purchase an action for $750 any day of the week - especially if matching. You can even find original stock sets, so even though it will be a resto or shooter - very well worth it IMHO.
