KM marked C.Otto Gehrkens Frog.

Hi all, I have here a very oddly marked frog dated 42 It's been looked at by several moderators and KM collectors and given the ok but alas I cannot find another to cross reference ! the maker mark is also non cursive which I have not come across on frogs , Y straps do display this TM and are also 42 dated coincidence? please have a look and feel free to express any thoughts , I'd just love to see another one . regards.

Looks ok to me , other was on WAF some days ago, but there is the maker not good visible,is of Hohenbruck which is Sudetenland Trebechovice nad Orebem, which is well known leather factories area, too 1942 dated and similar KM stamp.b.r.Andy

I have never encountered this particular manufacturer nor the unusual markings, so both are new to me...

Have this "block letter" style marking recorded for C. Otto Gehrkens frogs dated 1941 and 1942. They are encountered with far less frequency than the "script" style maker's marking. The alternate Kriegsmarine property marking is also quite scarce. It has been observed on frogs, ammunition pouches and rg34 cleaning kits. An example of the cleaning kit marking is shown in the Bayonets & Accessories section.
