the other rifle i saw was this bnz44. there were no serial numbers anywhere on this rifle except the stock. there were some small stamps of something that looked kinda like a number two on some of the parts.? ... several photos....bnz44-1.jpg ...bnz44-3.jpg .... bnz44-5.jpg .........

And as nice as the other rifle is, this one is not. No serial numbers ANYWHERE, quite suspicious......

Bnz 4

I have a bnz 4 receiver without a serial number. Trying to find out some history. Anyone know if this was normal? S/N is stamped on the barrel.

Lack of numbers on both the barrel and receiver means forget this one and move on. Either the numbers on barrel, receiver, bolt, etc. were removed or it had a barrel with a serial number that was removed and replaced. This seems like the most likely reasons.

Looks like a deaths head placed on the wrong part of the stock too.

I saw that too! That bolt handle has been sanitized IMHO. It's just too smooth and too low. I wonder if there's anything on the bottom flat?
