The grips are 100% original, you can't fake the Walther swirl and metal backing molded in. They are far from brand new there are five chips, and scratches it just doesn't show in the photos. I would argue the opposite. Most people would have found a 99% gun swapped them, as there was no set serial number range for these. I would argue a worn gun is more likely to be original than a brand new pistol. Most that are for sale have been swapped to 'enhance' the gun, its doubtful anyone would swap it to a lower condition PPK.
