That is what they must have looked like coming off the production line. That is a beauty for sure.
 
Beautiful example. From an old BCN collection. I like the way the pommels were machined on these late Friedr. Abr. Herder pieces. Thanks for posting.

I couldn't agree more. You can really see it in image #16. The colors are great too. Beautiful mint example.
