This is the last bayonet that have to post at this time. The frog does not have a retaining strap but it might have not been made with one? It looks like it has the holes for the strap though. I could not find any markings on the back of this frog. As always, thanks for looking and any comments. I am really happy that most of my pictures on all my recent posts are facing the right way. :thumbsup:

Hard to say without having the frog in hand. Have seen this pattern of frog manufactured without ever having a retention strap installed. Nice bayonet ....

Already reported piece, nice Eickhorn, the frog could be prepared for adding the securing strap, but never added or its a repair. b.r.Andy

Thank so for the input. I liked the bayonet, frogs are secondary to me. They are nice to have but not crucial.
