SG 24 (t) bayonet

Finally got a proper bayonet for my G33/40. It's marked dot 42 and my rifle is a 1940 dated 945 but it's close enough. Here in Norway these bayonets are quite rare compared to the regular bayonet for K98's, is it the same way stateside?

Fine example! They're not nearly as common here as K.98 bayonets but at least in my experience, don't sell nearly as well. Hope you're a Norwegian Arms Collectors member.

Very nice, congratulations! Almost all of these that I've seen have been in exceptional condition.

Looks like very early dot 42 marked S24(t) bayonet, normally the bayonet should be for G.24(t) rifles, but certainly there was a bunch of G33/40 used with it, most real dot42 too stamped. b.r.Andy
From the piece it looks like a depot storage when so very shortly used.

Thanks guys for your kind words. And yes oldcorps, I'm a member of the club.

I've previously owned a dot 42 G33/40 but I sold it last year.
