Interesting helmet. I would like to see a real nice close up of the decal please.
I have seen some very believable camo's that were fake and the only way we could tell they were fake was the decal was a reproduction
and they chose to leave it exposed and that blew the whole thing. Even with that large amount of damage on top it could be a repro ?

Is this just a total turd or is everyone stuck on the honor ring thread? Got this from someone liquidating a estate. Would normally stay away from something like this without help from a expert but it was priced very low because of damage

I was trying to help. I asked someone as I wasn't 100% sure. he couldn't tell from your photos. Then I got side tracked with a deal I was getting done. Let me see..

FWIW I like the colors and especially the tropical paint inside the skirt. Notice also the paint on the chinstrap bails and liner band. I’m no decal expert but if the decal is real I think it stands a very good chance. If not, forget it. One odd thing is the decal isnt painted around but isnt obviously dug either, maybe someone was able to chip the dried/flaking paint off over it? Not sure
