M 35 Police Helmet

Fresh out of a vets Basement! Helmet banner dated 1938, chinstrap 1938, Done Stamp 1938, Manufacturer N.S. size 66, and pencil named to boot! On to of the Krigs Harbor Flag that that it also came with.
I'll post more stuff later, enjoy and I can take better pictures tomorrow, and any insight would be great.

Very nice. My father brought back the exact same type, size, and maker helmet from WW2!
Mine also has D.153 stamped inside, does yours?

Thanks for the positive feedback! Tharpo is that D.153 stamp in the shape of a rectangle? I might have a similar stamp in anther DD M35 Police that I have. Can you post a picture of the stamp I'll do the in a few days.

This helmet was found by my father and his brother in a house near Nuremberg during the war in 1945.

that's the steel lot #. Early NS m35's used D and E maybe more just going off memory.
Very nice examples posted here.. NS is my favorite police decal.

very cool.... D must be later than E as these things don't make sense. Both examples above are circa 38/39
