It would have been nicer if some bozo didn't scrub the serial number and buff it like a Leprechaun's coin. But has anyone seen a rifle with this subcontractor band on it? I'm guessing it's a 337/1940 item.

You know I have M marked muzzle cover inside the lid. I wonder if it's the same subcontractor.
