    Question Legit 41/1?

    Hello everyone,

I bought a shooter grade rifle (Mauser Borsigwalde, complete missmatching numbers) "for a couple of bucks" last weekend.
    It has a ZF41/1 attached.

I think the odds that it is a legit one are very small, but I would like to ask the experts, what they think. ;-)
If it is a repro, what is it worth?

If you need more/other photos to judge, please let me know.

    Thanks in advance.

That are great news! Thanks alot.

Due to the fact that the barrel seems to be a postwar replacement (no eagle, but CB in a circle), the base is not original.

I agree, scope and mount original. Scope number is under ocular rainshield.

    Great, thank you, too.

Is anything known about the production numbers of the different manufacturers? Esp. Feinmechanik G.m.b.H., Kassel?

I will have a look under the rainshield as soon as possible.

Lol yeah the base mount on the rifle is not correct, the stock cutout looks as though it was back cut by hand. It should have rounded corners.
