Hi

I got two magazines for the MP44, the first of them marked qnw, and I believe it's the real
thing, the other one marked fxo I'm more critical about, believe that the fxo magazines is a repro.

What do you guys think, and why?

Thanks in advance

I'd have to agree... There are threads here that show plenty of closeups of the reproduction FXO marked mags for your reference as well. Why, I've handled FXO originals that match how yours is marked, especially the proof mark.

Happy to hear that you believe that both are original. I had by doubt about the fxo magazine because of the proof mark.

I learned something today ...... thats good.

Happy we could help! Another clue for what seems 90% of the repros the small rectangle emboss on the mag catch side of the magazines will be shorter than war time originals.

As previously stated, both look good and both appear to have their original finish. Lots of mags were refinished post war.
